Chennai homes, run from an office in Chennai.

AlcorOne's head office is in T. Nagar. That is the whole difference on a home project: the people accountable for your site are in the same city as your site, not coordinating it from another state. Turnkey execution on an itemised BOQ, specified for Chennai's humidity and its October–December monsoon.

How a Chennai home project runs.

Three things decide whether a Chennai home interior holds up: the material grade in the wet zones, the hardware specification against coastal humidity, and whether anyone senior actually visits the site each week.

Same-city supervision

Our head office is in T. Nagar, so site visits are a short drive rather than a flight. Escalations get a person on site the same week, not a photograph and an apology.

Itemised BOQ, not a rate

Every line carries its material grade, brand and quantity. A per-square-foot lump sum hides the carcass grade — the one variable that decides whether a Chennai kitchen survives a decade.

Wet zones in BWP IS:710

Kitchen sink cabinets, utility storage and bathroom vanities are specified in marine-grade plywood. Dry-zone wardrobes and TV units use MR or BWR grade, so you pay marine rates only where they earn it.

SS 304 hardware

Hinges, channels and fasteners in stainless rather than plated mild steel. Chennai's coastal humidity produces rust-bleed through light-coloured shutters, and that damage refinishes rather than cleans.

Monsoon-aware sequencing

The North-East monsoon lands October to December. Joinery installation, painting and any work depending on a dry substrate are planned around it rather than fought through it.

Snagging before handover

A written snag list is closed before we ask for the final release. Alignment, shutter gaps, drawer travel, and every soft-close mechanism checked individually.

Questions we hear most.

What does a turnkey home interior cost in Chennai?

A 2BHK lands at ₹10.5–16 lakh and a 3BHK at ₹16–26 lakh — AlcorOne execution rates as of August 2026, exclusive of GST. Those bands assume BWP IS:710 in the wet zones, MR or BWR in dry zones, and SS 304 hardware throughout. Our Chennai cost page and the individual guides carry the full working.

Does having your head office in Chennai actually change anything?

It changes escalation speed and site-visit frequency, which are the two things that most often go wrong on interior projects. When a supplier delivers the wrong shutter finish or a wall turns out to be out of plumb, a decision-maker can be on site the same week. Firms coordinating a Chennai site from another city discover the same problems a fortnight later, from photographs.

Why does Chennai need coastal-grade material specification?

Ambient humidity is high year-round and salt-laden air reaches well inland from the coast. Commercial or MR-grade plywood in a kitchen sink cabinet swells and delaminates, usually within two or three monsoons, and plated mild-steel hardware produces brown rust-bleed that stains light shutters permanently. BWP IS:710 in wet zones and SS 304 hardware are the minimum that survives here, not upgrades.

How long does a Chennai home interior take?

Six to ten weeks for a 2BHK and nine to fourteen for a 3BHK, from a cleared site. The main variables are apartment-association working-hour restrictions and whether the schedule crosses the October–December monsoon, when work depending on a dry substrate has to be sequenced more carefully.

Do you work during the October to December monsoon?

Yes, but we sequence around it rather than ignore it. Internal joinery and modular installation continue; painting, polishing and anything needing a dry substrate or open windows is planned for the drier weeks. We also check for water ingress at balconies and wet walls before joinery covers them, because a damp wall behind a finished wardrobe becomes invisible and unfixable.

How are payments structured?

Against a signed itemised BOQ, in stages tied to completed and inspected work rather than to calendar dates. Change orders are priced and approved in writing before execution. A large advance with no completion milestone attached is the clearest warning sign in this trade, and we do not ask for one.

Send your floor plan to the Chennai office.

Share the floor plan and we will return an itemised BOQ with the material grade named against every line, plus a sequence that accounts for your building's working-hour rules and the monsoon window.
