Terms of Service.
The commercial terms that govern an AlcorOne interior contracting engagement.
These terms apply to any interior contracting engagement between AlcorOne Solutions LLP ("AlcorOne", "we", "us") and a client. They sit alongside — and are superseded by — the specific written scope, BOQ, and payment schedule signed for each project.
Scope of engagement
Every project begins with a written, itemised scope of work (BOQ) covering materials, finishes, and exclusions. Work proceeds against this document; anything not listed in the BOQ is out of scope unless agreed in writing as a variation (see below).
Deposit and payment
Projects require an upfront deposit of 20% of the total contract value before work begins, adjusted against the final invoice. The remaining payment is released in milestones tied to project progress (e.g. material procurement, civil and carpentry completion, finishing, handover) — the exact milestone schedule is agreed in writing for each individual project and stated in that project's payment schedule, since it varies with project size, scope, and site conditions.
Variations and change orders
Any change to the agreed scope — additional work, material upgrades, or design changes requested after sign-off — is treated as a variation. Variations are costed and confirmed in writing before execution; the price and timeline impact are agreed per change and per client, since no two variation requests carry the same cost or schedule impact.
Timeline
Project timelines are estimated at the BOQ stage based on scope and site readiness, and confirmed in the project's written schedule. Delays caused by client-side approvals, site access, or a variation mid-project may extend the confirmed timeline; we communicate any such impact before it affects the schedule.
Warranty
Workmanship defects identified during the handover snag-list process are rectified before final sign-off at no additional cost. Beyond handover, material and product warranties (modular fittings, hardware, electricals, sanitaryware, and similar) are the respective manufacturer's or vendor's own warranty — AlcorOne facilitates the vendor warranty claim on the client's behalf but does not extend a separate warranty period of its own beyond what the material vendor provides.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing timely site access, approvals on design/material sign-offs, and payment per the agreed milestone schedule. Delays on any of these may affect the project timeline.
Limitation of liability
AlcorOne's liability under any project engagement is limited to the value of that project's contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (force majeure, regulatory changes, or third-party vendor delays outside our sequencing).
Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from a project engagement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
