- Marine Plywood: It is practically immune to ambient humidity. True IS 710 plywood can withstand 72 hours of boiling water, making it structurally invincible against coastal moisture.
Where to Use HDHMR in Vizag

- Under-Sink Cabinets: Where direct, pooling water leaks are possible, Marine Plywood is the only safe choice.

HDHMR is manufactured by pressing wood fibers tightly with strong synthetic resins, making it very difficult for termites to chew through. While highly borer and termite resistant, it is not 100% termite-proof if a severe infestation occurs in the building.
Which is more expensive, HDHMR or Plywood?
Premium HDHMR is usually more expensive than commercial MR (IS 303) plywood, but it is generally cheaper than premium BWP (IS 710) Marine Plywood.
Can I build my entire kitchen with HDHMR?
We do not recommend it. While you can use HDHMR for the front doors (shutters) to get a beautiful PU finish, the internal structural boxes (carcass) should always be made of BWP Marine Plywood for superior screw-holding strength.
