The mandal occupies upland agency terrain in the Eastern Ghats foothills — undulating ground, low hills, roughly 74 m above sea level, on well-drained red loam and largely not flood-prone. Levels and damp-proofing are checked against the actual building rather than assumed from delta experience a district away.

How is building in Jangareddygudem different from building in the delta?
The ground and the moisture load are different. Jangareddygudem's mandal is upland agency terrain in the Eastern Ghats foothills — undulating, roughly 74 m above sea level, on well-drained red loamy soil, and largely not flood-prone. The delta sites on this programme face sustained humidity and real flood exposure, so their substrate and hardware specification is more conservative. Treating the two as one region is how avoidable defects get built in.
