Upland sites away from the trunk rail corridor mean longer final-leg deliveries and less local availability of specialist hardware. Board and hardware quantities are firmed up before mobilisation so a missing channel does not cost a week — the single biggest schedule risk on a site like this.

Chintalapudi is a nagara panchayat in Eluru district, on the upland tract above the Godavari delta. Its build risk profile is the inverse of Narsapuram's: lower humidity and flood exposure, but a longer material last mile and thinner local supply of specialist hardware. That is planned for at procurement rather than discovered mid-build. Scope, area and dates are confirmed at survey and published here as they are fixed.

Eluru district. The April 2022 Andhra Pradesh reorganisation carved Eluru district out of the erstwhile West Godavari and Krishna districts, and Chintalapudi now falls under it. Older records and addresses still show West Godavari, which is why this programme is described as a West Godavari rollout while each page states its present-day district.
Not straightforwardly. The moisture-rated substrate and hardware premium that a coastal or delta site needs is genuinely lower here, but the material last mile is longer and specialist hardware is less locally available, which adds freight and schedule risk. The two roughly offset; what matters is that each site is priced for its own conditions rather than to a single regional average.
