# A kiosk is built in the workshop, not on the concourse.

The unit is cut, assembled, finished and dry-fitted off site, then delivered and put together inside a single overnight window — so every dimension has to be right before it leaves the workshop, because nothing can be trimmed to fit on a trading floor. Published rate: ₹2,500 to ₹4,000 per sq ft, delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. AlcorOne has executed mall counters in Kukatpally and Gachibowli.

## What *fabricated off site* actually means.

A mall gives you hours, not weeks. The only way to hand over a finished kiosk in one or two night windows is for the unit to arrive substantially complete, which moves almost all of the risk into the workshop.

### The carcass is CNC-cut

Panels are machine-cut to the surveyed footprint rather than sized on site. That is what makes an overnight assembly possible: parts that fit each other without adjustment. Board grade follows the signed BOQ — BWP to IS 710 where the unit takes water, BWR to IS 303 above splash height.

### Edges are machine-banded

Edge-banding is applied in the factory with PUR adhesive rather than by hand, which is what keeps a counter edge sealed against the daily cleaning a concourse unit takes.

### Cladding, counter and signage are fitted before dispatch

Laminate or veneer cladding, the counter top, the signage box and its lighting are built onto the unit in the workshop. Site work then reduces to positioning, levelling, power tie-in and snagging.

### Electricals are pre-wired to one tie-in point

Internal wiring, driver locations and switching are completed off site and terminated at a single point, so the mall electrician's involvement on the night is one connection rather than a first fix.

### The unit is dry-fitted before it leaves

The kiosk is stood up once in the workshop and taken apart again. A unit that has never been assembled before it reaches the concourse is the most common reason an overnight install runs past opening.

## Five dimensions locked *before anything is cut.*

Each is cheap to confirm during survey and expensive to discover on delivery night, because a fabricated unit cannot be trimmed to fit on a trading floor.

### Footprint

The demised area as built, not as leased. Column positions, skirting and shutter tracks routinely take usable centimetres off a drawing.

### Height restriction

Centres cap unit height, and the cap is often lower than the ceiling. Signage projecting above it is one of the most common submission rejections.

### Power tie-in point and allocated load

Where the supply terminates, and how much of it is yours. Lighting and any appliance load are specified against the allocation rather than the reverse.

### Finished floor level

Concourse floors are rarely flat. The plinth detail is designed around the measured level so the counter sits true without packing on the night.

### Delivery route

Service lift dimensions, door widths and the route from loading bay to pitch. This decides how the unit is broken into sections for transport.

## Kiosk manufacturers, or *fit-out contractors?*

Buyers search for both, and for kiosk suppliers and RMU manufacturers besides. They are not the same product, and the difference decides who is accountable when the unit does not fit. Here is where we sit, plainly.

### We fabricate, in our own workshop

The carcass, cladding, counter and signage are built off site by AlcorOne rather than bought in and re-badged. If you are searching for mall kiosk manufacturers in Hyderabad and what you want is a unit built to your site, that is this.

### We are not a stock-kiosk supplier

There is no catalogue of ready-made units here, and no rental fleet. Every kiosk is built to one footprint, one height cap and one power position. If you need a standard RMU delivered next week, a stock supplier is the better call.

### Inline mall units are a different problem

Where the work is built in place across many night windows rather than delivered complete, the constraint is the centre's approval process and the night-work programme. That is covered on the [mall and kiosk fit-out page](https://www.alcorone.com/hyderabad/mall-kiosk-fitouts/).

## Questions we *hear most.*

### Are you kiosk manufacturers in Hyderabad, or a fit-out contractor?

A fit-out contractor that fabricates. AlcorOne builds the unit off site in its own workshop — CNC-cut carcass, machine edge-banding, cladding, counter and pre-wired electricals — then delivers and assembles it in the mall. What AlcorOne is not is a stock-kiosk supplier: there is no catalogue of ready units to buy off the shelf. Every kiosk is built to the footprint, height restriction and power position of one specific site.

### How long does a mall kiosk take to fabricate and install in Hyderabad?

Two to three weeks from a signed BOQ, most of which is workshop time. The install itself is usually one or two overnight windows, because a trading mall releases the concourse only after closing. The programme is therefore set by the fabrication schedule rather than by site days.

### What does a mall kiosk cost in Hyderabad?

The published range is ₹2,500 to ₹4,000 per sq ft, covering the fabricated unit, its finishes, signage and electricals. The binding figure comes from an itemised BOQ against the surveyed footprint and the mall's own restrictions, not from the range alone.

### What has to be confirmed before fabrication starts?

Five things: the exact footprint, the mall's height restriction, the power tie-in point and allocated load, the finished floor level the unit sits on, and how the unit will reach the concourse — service lift dimensions or the delivery route. All five are confirmed before anything is cut, because a fabricated unit cannot be trimmed to fit once it is on the floor.

### How is a kiosk different from an inline mall unit?

A kiosk is mostly a factory-build problem; an inline unit is mostly an approvals and night-shift problem. A kiosk is fabricated off site, delivered and assembled in a very short window, so dimensional precision carries the risk. An inline unit is built in place behind hoarding across many night windows, and the centre's approval process governs it.

### What warranty covers a fabricated kiosk?

The same three tiers as any AlcorOne work, stated separately because they expire at different times: ten years on the plywood carcass against delamination, borer attack and manufacturing defect, conditional on the board grade in the signed BOQ being what was supplied — BWP to IS 710 in wet zones, BWR to IS 303 above splash; one year on installation and workmanship; and the manufacturer's own term on hardware, fittings and appliances.
